Mario Teaches Typing is a series of educational games in the Super Mario franchise developed by Interplay. The point of this series is to help players learn how to type using a keyboard. The series has two games in the series, Mario Teaches Typing and Mario Teaches Typing 2.
Gameplay
Both of the games in the series consist of Mario going through many levels where typing helps Mario travel through the levels.

Mario Teaches Typing is the first installment in the Mario Teaches Typing series. Most of the gameplay consists of the player needing to type a sequence of keys in correspondence to what the computer screen displays. |

Mario Teaches Typing 2 is the second and final installment in the Mario Teaches Typing series. The game is very similar to the first, however, there is a floating Mario head that talks to the player. |
