Multiple edits

Hi. Please try to avoid making too many consecutive edits on one page in a short timespan, especially when trying to fix coding errors. If you want to see what the page looks like before saving it, click the "Show preview" button next to "Save page". Small edits like coding fixes should also be marked as minor (by ticking "This is a minor edit" checkbox). Thanks. Rosalina costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 01:15, 4 April 2018 (EDT)

Yo, please avoid walkthrough-style writing (ex: using "yous") as you did here. Check the manual of style for pointers and expectations of how articles should be written. --Glowsquid (talk) 09:25, 15 August 2018 (EDT)

Chinese Midbus

Then what is his official name there? According to the BiS page, it was released in the People's Republic of China back in 2009. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 21:55, 15 February 2019 (EST)

Foreign language

There's actually separate documentation for Simplified and Traditional Chinese in Template:Foreign names; why not go check? Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 09:21, November 14, 2020 (EST)

RE: Chinese name of Blue Toad (NSMB)

Template:Media link Even if I checked those official websites and NSMBUD, I found nothing, unfortunately. Btw, if you can't find the source temporarily, please don't add the wrong source. Pi'illoper.pngBlhte(A****** c*****) 06:04, November 30, 2020 (EST)

The two Toads in NSMBUD are just simply named "奇诺比奥", and both Nintendo and Tencent's NSMBUD official Chinese site don't mention Blue Toad, as same as the Japanese site. So I suggest you better don't add it until you find it. Pi'illoper.pngBlhte(A****** c*****) 09:13, November 30, 2020 (EST)
Yes, Blue Toad's will most likely be the same as well, but that can only be proved by future sources. I know it seems particularly unnecessary, but this is wiki. It's not allowed to make up a name based on another name even you know it can be easily inferred. You used Template:Ref needed prepare for the future, but the fact is, the template's purpose is request an existing source for a known but hard to determine intelligence. In a word, although the name is based on the TC name, it is still inferred by yourself. Only the SC name the Yellow Toad is used as the only evidence, it's still does not represent the official name. Huge Fire Bar's name is official, it's from the introduce of the 23rd in-game demo video (you can also see this online). The original sentence is "超小马力欧在巨大火焰棒中不断穿梭的超级玩法". Pi'illoper.pngBlhte(A****** c*****) 23:34, November 30, 2020 (EST)
However, it is not necessary to add a source if the contents in the game can be found directly. I give you an online source because it's easy for you to see it. Pi'illoper.pngBlhte(A****** c*****) 23:49, November 30, 2020 (EST)

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate update history patch notes

I've noticed that you likely plagiarized text from another wiki. Even though this is official update patch notes, please take care to fix any broken formatting in translation, such as the broken citations. BabyLuigiFire.pngRay Trace(T|C) 17:37, December 4, 2020 (EST)

Moving files

After moving a file, you should mark the original file name with {{delete}} (after removing any links to it) so admins can see it in Category:Pages to be deleted. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 12:20, December 7, 2020 (EST)

Related to that, any files you replace must also be marked for deletion after fixing the links. Otherwise, we'll end up with unused files we no longer need. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 11:33, December 8, 2020 (EST)

Japanese quizzes

This is an english-based wiki, so we don't really need to have quizzes written out in any other languages as well. At best, that sort of thing should stick to the "names in other languages" sections. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8

I think a discussion in one of the article talk pages should be started regarding this. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8

"Gance"

Where exactly did you see that? I've only noted c_gans and c_m_gansu in /a/ LinkTheLefty (talk) 10:05, April 21, 2021 (EDT)

Interesting, didn't notice it. I see the same file also confirms that Poison Pokey was Pokey Mummy. The information is fine, but I'm just going to add a clearer reference to it. One more thing: what was the reason for this edit? The former name was corroborated by the internal filename WanwanSearch.arc and page 159 of Encyclopedia Super Mario Bros. LinkTheLefty (talk) 13:47, April 28, 2021 (EDT)
It was called that way in-game according to the mission name. If it's really called as "Search Wanwan" in the official Japanese encyclopedia, then you can add it below the in-game name. But I suggest you to not remove the in-game name, and instead add it below that one with the citations. EC2-Towards (talk) 00:22, May 7, 2021 (EDT)

Red Berry

Hi. May I ask where you got this Chinese name? The in-game name in iQue's localization seems to be 红浆果 instead of 红色浆果. --Dine2017 (talk) 04:38, December 26, 2021 (EST)
