Not-Bottomless Holes are types of terrain found in almost every area in Paper Mario: The Origami King, mainly caused by Paper Macho Soldiers. They can be filled up by using confetti, with the amount needed to fix them depending on their size. If Mario falls into one, he loses seven HP. Not-Bottomless Holes work similarly to colorless spots from Paper Mario: Color Splash. Completely filling a hole with confetti causes the hole to turn back to normal, usually rewarding the player with several coins. After filling in all of the Not-Bottomless Holes in a given area the player will receive a message informing them that all of the holes in the area have been repaired.
