Llama, Donkey Kong 64

The Llama[1] is a character in Donkey Kong 64. He is trapped in the level Angry Aztec inside of a cage by King K. Rool. Donkey Kong can free him by using a Donkey Kong Pad in another part of the level. The Llama thanks him by giving him a Golden Banana.

Later on in the level, the Llama is found inside of his own temple. It is here that Lanky Kong can be found.

Trivia

  • The Llama is very similar to another Rare character from the Banjo-Kazooie series, Gobi. Aside from having somewhat similar appearances, they are both trapped in desert worlds, are both found more than once in the same level, and both use their "spitting" powers to solve puzzles. However, the two operate in opposite manners; the Kongs don't attack the Llama to solve puzzles, but Banjo and Kazooie have to attack Gobi to solve puzzles.
