Ideas

For a list of articles that need to be written, check out Special: Wantedpages. Also, try to follow the guidelines set forth in PipeProject: SMWikify, including better grammar and spelling, as well as not using the word "you" (instead use "Mario" or "the player"). Use Microsoft Word to type your articles then check for spelling and grammar, and then copy and paste to the article page. That's it, and good luck! =) -- Son of Suns

Warning.svg This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (blanking pages) regarding the page Blanking {{Welcome}} on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site.
If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it.
I'm also watching you on Image:Battlebeetle.gif. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 15:44, 3 November 2006 (EST)

OK:

I see that you are unfamiliar with wikisyntax in general, including templates. The {{welcome}} template you edited affected other user talk pages that had the code {{Welcome}} in the edit box – it removed that message entirely whereever it was included. To remove it from just your talk page, you should have removed the line {{Welcome}} from the edit box of User talk:Lord Crump, or this page. Blanking pages intentionally is considered vandalism on the wiki, so I warned you, but I now see that it was entirely accidental, so:

Try out the MediaWiki user guide to get started on wikis in general. It should help greatly. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 19:57, 3 November 2006 (EST)

I heard you needed a helper with the pics for the Super Mario Land 2. I can help! I'm not a sysop, but I am quite good at downsizing, uploading, and cutting off parts of pics. Drop me a message if you need help! 3dejong

Tell me what you want, and I'll do my very, very best to get it! I know my way around Google. 3dejong

Reply: No names

If you cannot find the name of the enemy you should create a name that you feel will describe the enemy in a word or two. Then make the page and tag {{conjecture}} at the top so others know it's a conjectural title. And be sure to add it (alphabetically) to the Enemies page. Just suggest any new project, tell me about it, and I'll see what I can do to help out!, And about editing pics, here's what you should do: Upload them (using the Upload File link in the Toolbox) tell me about it, I copy it onto my computer and edit it (I can upsize, downsize, cut off part, etc.) then replace the old, unedited one with the new, edited one! OK? Drop me a line once you've uploaded a pic, or want to tell me about another project! Plus, I'm planning to buy the Super Mario Lands, so I can help out more! 3dejong

(Response to Thumbs Up!) I can start right after I upload the rest of the Pixelated Figurines pics, in about 15 minutes. Go ahead and start your uploading, and once I'm done, I'll check 'em out! 3dejong

And one more thing, I know four or five sites that have tons of Mario info, so I can look up official names! 3dejong

If a creature/characters name is unknown a suitable name may be used until the official name is found. If a creature does not have an official name (such as Mecha-Kritters) I'm not really sure what to do, I think the chosen name could stay in place, but with the cunjuncteral (I think thats how to spell it) template should stay in place. -- Sir Grodus

If the name suitably fits the creature, then it's fine. And it's spelled "conjectural", FYI ;) Monty Mole (Talk·Contribs)

Reply: Look

It has terrible grammar. It is also almost entirely speculation – how do you know that pots from Yoshi's Safari are a sub-species of Blooper (which sounds impossible to start with!)? I am forced to remove many parts of that section. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 20:35, 4 November 2006 (EST)

I made a page about it, but it's not that good. It's a start though. Tadaa!2.gifPlumber, darkgreenTadaaa!.gif

SNES

WOW! I can'y believe that you have a fully functional SNES. I know that it's a sad storry, but I wasn't around for the SNES. My first console was the N64. I've been trying to find a working one, but I've had no luck. Do you know anywhere were I could still buy a working SNES?--Aipom_Banana_2.gif Aipom 424.png--
