U | This Direct mainly took place at the office of the former Nintendo of Europe president, Satoru Shibata's office at the Nintendo of Europe headquarters in Frankfort, Germany. This room features a poster for New Super Mario Bros. 2 and figurines of a Goomba and a Shell Cup trophy.
Box art for Mario Party 9, Mario Sports Mix, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii were seen when Wii compatible games for the Wii U are listed. Nintendo Land was then highlighted, with mentions of Mario Chase, Luigi's Ghost Mansion, Yoshi's Fruit Cart, and Donkey Kong's Crash Course. Later on, New Super Mario Bros. U was spotlighted as a launch game for the Wii U and highlights various features to the game like Boost Mode and the ability to play as your Mii.
