Pyramid platforms[1] are triangular prism-shaped platforms in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS appearing only in Rainbow Ride, where the player character has to use them to obtain the Power Star of the mission Tricky Triangles! Pyramid platforms flip upside down for a few seconds when a Purple Switch is activated before reverting to their original forms.
