Template:Character-infobox Template:Quote2 Paper Macho Gooper Blooper is a Paper Macho Soldier boss in Paper Mario: The Origami King in the form of Gooper Blooper.

History

Prior to the events of The Origami King, Paper Macho Gooper Blooper played a significant role Bob-omb's backstory. During their vacation aboard The Princess Peach, Gooper Blooper attacked the Bob-ombs, and Bob-omb himself was tossed overboard, losing his fuse and his memories in the process.

In the present day, Bob-omb returns to the ship, having regained his memories and partnered up with Mario, in an attempt to hunt down a prized possession he left behind prior to the attack. Gooper Blooper is shown to still be actively patrolling the cruise's remains, having formed dozens of Not-Bottomless Holes, eaten and traumatized several of the Toad crew members, and sprayed ink all over certain rooms, in addition to the occasional shadow of him provided through the portholes.

Eventually, he reaches into the royal suite and swipes Bob-omb's lockbox, forcing him and Mario to chase him onto the bow of the ship, where he is fought. Gooper Blooper's weak spots are the tips of his tentacles, which are marked with King Olly stickers and shatter after being attacked. When these are all destroyed, he sprays ink on the battlefield, which slows Mario down, and sends out waves of water. Afterwards, he spins around and gets dizzy, and Mario can hammer him in the eye, also marked with a sticker, damaging his body and releasing confetti. Once Gooper Blooper takes enough hits, he is defeated, and group of Toads are freed from inside him, alongside a safety deposit box that Bob-omb was looking for.
