Template:Pmitem-infobox The Electro Pop is a recipe and an item found in the Paper Mario series. It is a lollipop with a swirl in electric colors.

History

Paper Mario

Electro Pops first appear in Paper Mario. Tayce T. can create one with a Volt Shroom and a Cake Mix (which can be obtained in Shy Guy's Toy Box). The item is intended to replenish 15 FP when used by Mario either inside or outside of battle. However, due to a bug, the item replenishes FP to a value of Mario's current HP plus 15 (e.g. if Mario's HP is at 5 and FP is at 8, the Electro Pop will restore 12 FP, to reach a FP value of 20 (5 + 15)).[1][2] If used in battle, it also electrifies Mario. This item can be considered a helpful improvement on the Volt Shroom. as it has the same effect but also heals. This item can be sold anywhere for 25 coins. It is depicted as a brown lollipop with a yellow swirl.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

Electro Pops also appear in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Zess T. can make one from a Volt Shroom and a Cake Mix (which can be obtained from the Pianta Parlor). Mario and his partners can use this item in both in and out of battle, replenishing fifteen FP and electrifying the user. Like Paper Mario, this item can be sold for 25 coins. It is depicted here as a black lollipop with an orange swirl.

Super Paper Mario

Electro-Pops appear again in Super Paper Mario. Saffron can make one from a Thunder Rage. This item electrifies Mario and co. for 40 seconds. It can be sold for 82 coins.
