I am 20 years old and from the Philippines. My personality usually relies in computer, video gaming and travel transportation. I usually play games involving Mario or Sonic and games in the arcade.

On many of my games, I usually play matches with (mostly) 4 human players and assign players certain characters. In addition, character voices are what I love the best.

Games I Play

I usually play the following Mario games shown below.

Note: Games here are sorted by the 1st date of release. This also applies to the games in the My Most Common Characters per Game section. Also, unless said otherwise, I generally own 1 copy of each game from retail stores in America.

My Records

These are my records for various Mario games.

  • Records only qualify if all of the following conditions are true:
  • Co-op records on games that only have versus play take account to the worst result by any player in the game.
    • The order the scores are displayed on co-op records are from the worst score to the best score.
    • Co-op records will only list games that involve simultaneous play (using multiple controllers or systems simultaneously).
  • A notation will be provided next to the record if my actual best record differs from the record saved on the user profile.
  • Time-based records are shown to the nearest thousandth of a second, regardless of the game used.

Diddy Kong Racing

  • Note: This table will only show Car records set on T.T. mode.
    • Diddy Kong Racing determines the player's times to 1/60 of a second. Although the digits 2, 4, 7 and 9 can be shown in the hundredths place during a race, these digits can never be part of a player's final time in that placement.
    • A player's final time is only visible in the Tracks mode in a 2-4 player race or in T.T. mode; all other modes do not show the player's final time.

Overall Standings (48-Space Games Only)

Standings are determined by a priority system in terms of the biggest or most amount of:

  • Wins (amount of 1st place)
    • Also counts ties for 1st with 2 or 3 players, but not 4 players
  • 2nd place
    • Also counts 2-way ties for 2nd
    • Does not count a 3-way tie for 2nd
  • 3rd place
    • Does not count a tie for 3rd
  • Draws
    • The number of 4-way ties
  • Losses (amount of last place)
    • Also counts 3-way ties for 2nd and 2-way ties for 3rd
    • Does not count 4-way ties
  • Best Gap, determined by:
    • Biggest margin of victory with a "+" sign, if character has won at least once
    • Fewest spaces remaining to a win with a "-" sign, if character has never won
    • If a character has won, but all victories have resulted in ties, this will be "0"
  • If all 6 conditions above don't produce a winner, this position is called a tie

Game Errors

The most common error a cabinet will throw up is a wheel error; only "Please call an attendant." errors that occurred during a session that I was in or were not caused by a wheel error will be listed below. Here, there are 2 occasions where I saw a "Please call an attendant." error in with the cause was not a wheel error:

  1. NamCam (Camera) error on September 30, 2016
  2. STR PCB link error on November 1, 2016

A race will be declared void and will not count on the below sections if at least one cabinet suffers a sort of error after the end of the pre-race countdown but before the last human player finishes or times out. For races that are not declared void despite this occurring, the number of cabinets that joined the game before this happened will be the number of players when determining which will be counted in the below sections.

When I was in a race

There are 2 occasions that a cabinet had showed up an error during a game that I was in:

  1. On January 16, 2018 at 11:07 - Playing a 1 Player Grand Prix race with Yoshi at Bowser Factory (M); at lap 3/3 in the race, the cabinet threw up a wheel error.
  2. On May 2, 2018 at 14:33 - Was about to start a 2 Player race with two Marios at Kingdom Way (M); one of the cabinets had a wheel error in the loading screen.

4 Player Races with Camera Disabled

Some arcades disable the camera in the cabinets from being used. Sometimes, cameras from cabinets are disabled due to malfunctions. Here, it shows the number of 4 Player Races I did with a cabinet's camera being disabled.

Note: Only races done with 4 players where at least one player was playing without the camera feature will count. In addition, it is not neccessary for a time out to occur for it to count. Currently, 0 races with a camera disabled have ended with no time out.

My Most Common Characters per Game

Since I use different characters for certain modes, I indicate which characters I most commonly play with for single player, multiplayer and in general for a specific game.

  • Note 1: Games not listed in a particular category typically either do not support a character selection (or a way to change the player's character), do not support 4-player, or currently have insufficient information available.
  • Note 2: These lists here are supposing that all characters in such games are unlocked (some games require the player to unlock characters before it can be played as). For the In General section only, red text indicates that this character must be unlocked first.

Single Player

Note: Fortune Street does not allow the human player to use the Mario or Dragon Quest characters in single player and online modes.

Multiplayer

  • Some games I play allow more than 5 human players to take part. These games will still have the characters that I use when playing with exactly 4 players; additional characters I may use are shown in another section.
  • For arcade games, the characters I would use would vary depending on which player numbers I am using in the game.
  • Some common character sets I use in 4-player games are:

Other character sets by game are shown below. Some games have no character set information.

Game P1 P2 P3 P4
Super Smash Bros. Kirby Link Pikachu Ness
Mario Party 3 Mario Luigi Peach Daisy
Super Smash Bros. Melee Ice Climbers Mewtwo Marth Roy
Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Mario & Luigi Peach & Daisy Wario & Waluigi Yoshi & Toad
Super Mario 3D World Mario Luigi Peach Toad
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Bowser Jr. Mewtwo Roy (Mario) Roy (Fire Emblem)

Mario & Sonic Series

All non-3DS Mario & Sonic games have one of these typical character sets:

London 3DS

The 3DS version of this game restricts characters to certain events. Here, the 20 characters split into 5 groups of 4; each event allows one group of characters to play it.

Group P1 P2 P3 P4
Heroes Mario Sonic Luigi Tails
Challengers Yoshi Shadow Bowser Jr. Silver
Girls Daisy Peach Blaze Amy
Wild Ones ? ? ? ?
Tricksters ? ? ? ?

For games with 5 or more players

Some games I play can have 5 or more human players simutaneously, and sometimes I take advantage of it. What is shown here is supposing that I have the neccesary equipment required to start a game with all these human players (games with * mean I was able to start a game with the maximum allowable players, otherwise the Players field will indicate the highest number of players I've had), and that each player can select a character.

  • The most number of players I had in offline mode: 12 on April 27, 2018 (12 orbits)
    • In a Mario game: 8 on February 26, 2015 (Super Smash Bros. for Wii U)
  • The most number of players I had in wireless/LAN multiplayer mode: 16 on May 10, 2019 (Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart)
    • In a Mario game: 6 on June 4, 2017 (Mario Kart 7)
  • The most number of players I had in an arcade session: 10 on July 11, 2015

Games that allow more than 8 players belong in its own section. Mario Kart: Double Dash!! picks characters randomly when playing in LAN mode (which is required for 5-8 players), so it is not in the list. Mario Party 10 also allows up to 8 players to play through the tournament mode, but as the maximum amount of simultaneous players is 5 and this number is only achieved in Bowser Party mode where the game forces Player 5 to be Bowser, that game is also not in the list. The list is as follows:

Game Players P1 P2 P3 P4 P5 P6 P7 P8 Description
Mario Kart DS 8 (5) Mario Luigi Yoshi Toad Peach Daisy Wario Waluigi Achieved in Local Multiplayer.
Mario Party 7* 8 Mario Luigi Yoshi Toad Peach Daisy Wario Waluigi 2 Players share a controller as there are only 4 controller slots.
Mario Kart 7 8 (6) Mario Luigi Yoshi Toad Bowser DK Koopa Rosalina Achieved in Local Multiplayer.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U* 8 Kirby Link Pikachu Ness Mario Luigi Yoshi C. Falcon Can connect up to 7 other controllers to play the 8-Player Smash mode.
Mario Sports Superstars 6 (4) Mario Luigi Yoshi Rosalina Peach Daisy - - The Horse Racing sport allows up to 6 human players.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate* 8 ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? One Nintendo Switch can allow 8 controllers.

For Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

This game allows up to 12 human players to participate via LAN Play, but only up to 8 with Wireless Play (even in split-screen mode). Up to 2 players can play in one console in this mode, so a minimum of 6 consoles are required for a full 12-player room.

Currently, the most amount of players I ever had in this game is 4. The characters I would normally use for a 12-player game is as follows:

For Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart

This game allows up to 16 human players to play in LAN mode, by going into Multiplayer and selecting the "Internet/LAN (2-16 Players)" option in the Host A Game section of the multiplayer menu and ensuring that Room is set to "LAN Mode". Up to 4 players can play in one console in this mode, so a minimum of 4 consoles are required for a full 16-player room.

The most amount of players I ever had in this game is the maximum of 16 players. The characters I would normally use for a 16-player game is as follows:

Note that this is assuming the only extra add-on being used is the bonuschars add-on, and this is as of the v1.1 release.

In General

For the Mario & Sonic games, the characters here are Amy and Blaze.
