Nice Uploads

World 7-4
Different than DeSmuME.

Nice uploads man! Can I ask a favor? Try to optimize your uploads using PNG Monstrous. The link explains why you should do it. It's not required, but it is recommended. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 22:18, 27 October 2016 (EDT)

I'll be using it as of the next upload. Thanks for linking me it, I've tested the program and it works. ThePokémonGamer (talk) 22:31, 27 October 2016 (EDT)
On that note, if you apply PNG Monstrous or do anything else that can be seen as an edit of the original image, it's a good idea to make a note of that on the image's summary (example). Again, it's not required, but the information can come in handy for future users. Also, noting where the image is obtained, whether you directly screencaped it from the game, grabbed it from another website, or used a YouTube video as a source, is also handy. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 22:53, 27 October 2016 (EDT)

Got a question. The image to the right, what are you using? I noticed you overwrote that image (originally mine). I know that is acceptable because the clouds aren't grey on real hardware. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 22:13, 3 December 2016 (EST)

Actually, I also used Desmume. I do believe however that the graphics settings of my version of Desmume when I took the shot is correct to the actual hardware, since I also use the latest version (even though versions that existed in 2011 may also have displayed the version that is correct to the hardware, seeing as a certain YouTube user from 2011 has used Desmume). Also, I have the DS cartridge of the actual game on hardware, so I know what it looks like on the real hardware. ThePokémonGamer (talk) 22:20, 3 December 2016 (EST)
EDIT: It could actually be what the graphics card of the laptop displays, since the graphics card here is Intel running on Windows. But yeah, the version I'm using is also Desmume, though it's more accurate to what displays on the actual DS hardware. ThePokémonGamer (talk) 22:22, 3 December 2016 (EST)
I see. I changed the 3D settings to SoftRasterizer and the clouds are rendering better. Thanks! I thought that DeSmuME was completely faulty. There's a plan B! --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 22:29, 3 December 2016 (EST)
