A Mega Cheep-Cheep is a large Cheep-Cheep that appears in New Super Mario Bros.. It will not target Mario and Luigi, but instead will follow a path oblivious to them. Mega Cheep-Cheeps are colored orange and are similar to Boss Basses. Each one is usually followed by about three Cheep-Cheeps.

Mega Cheep-Cheeps also make a minor appearance in Mario Party 8. In the minigame Rowed to Victory, the losing team of boaters will be chased by a Mega Cheep-Cheep and a few Cheep-Cheeps.
