Piranha Plant Space
Piranha Plant Space from Mario Party: Island Tour
Purpose Hurls the player backward a random number of spaces.
First appearance Mario Party: Island Tour (2013)

Piranha Plant Spaces are spaces that first appear in Mario Party: Island Tour, on the boards Perilous Palace Path and Kamek's Carpet Ride. If the player lands on one, then a Piranha Plant eats them up and sends them backwards a randomly chosen number of spaces between one and six. This is similar to the Back Spaces from Mario Party 3, Mario Party 9, and Mario Party 10, except that Piranha Plant Spaces always hinder the player's progress.
