- In the Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest level K. Rool Duel, after Diddy and Dixie Kong obtain a Kremkoin, Kaptain K. Rool will survive his defeat; however, Donkey Kong will break loose and knock him out (pictured).
- A Mine Cart in the Yoshi's Island DS level Spear Guys' Village Found! appears in a village hut, although is blocked off by walls.
- The WarioWare: Move It! microgame Shoo, Fly is derived from the children's song, "Shoo Fly, Don't Bother Me".
