Bumpers[1] are items from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise that knock the player back after contact with it. These items make one appearance in the Super Mario franchise within the game Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 during the Tower Climb, Tokyo Sky Flight and Bullet Train Blast minigames.
