Atari, Inc. developed many ports of Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., and Mario Bros. for home computers. Aside from the Super Mario-franchise and Donkey Kong-franchise ports, Atari, Inc. is also well known for games like Pong. Atari, Inc. became defunct in 1992. Despite Atari, Inc. becoming defunct, two successor companies under the Atari brand name remained extant.
