The Thousand-Year Door description | A key that opens a door in Creepy Steeple. A key that opens a door to some room. (Purple key, Switch) |
A Steeple Key is a key that unlocks a door in the Creepy Steeple in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. There are two versions, a gray one found on the lower mezzanine accessible with Yoshi Kid's Flutter Jump, and a purple one found inside a chest in the parrot's room. In both the original game and remake, the gray key unlocks the staircase leading up to Doopliss. On the other hand, the purple key unlocks the door to the parrot's room in the original game but unlocks a door to the room containing the pipe to Twilight Town in the remake.
