A flame,[1][2][3] also referred to as a fireball[2][4] or fire beast,[5] is a walking fireball enemy wearing sunglasses. They appear in Donkey Kong 64, and are located only in Crystal Caves, inside of an igloo that can be entered by only Chunky Kong. Inside, the Rabbit is tied to a TNT Barrel, and the flames walk toward it, trying to light the fuse. The object is for Chunky to prevent the flames from touching the TNT Barrel within the time limit for a Golden Banana. If a flame touches the TNT Barrel, it will explode with the Rabbit. Flames let out a short, high-pitched cackle (a high-pitched version of the cackle used by Baron Samedi in Rare's GoldenEye 007) before blowing up. Despite being made of fire, flames can still be defeated from Chunky's physical moves.
