The 'Shroom Spotlight

Hello, all you readers of The 'Shroom, and welcome to Spotlight. Spotlight is a community project which aims to fix up the articles on the wiki which have issues. These issues can range from poor writing, to a lack of images, to even just needing a credible source.

How was this year's April Fool's Day article? As the person who orchestrated the whole thing, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and the responses I've seen towards it. I'm especially proud of the Diamond City section in the story. Using Sora's memories as an in-universe explanation of getting microgames and using that idea to tie in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories was a stroke of genius. But enough about me, let's go over last month's focuses! And yes, most of these focuses were foreshadowing for the Mushroom Kingdom Hearts article.

Starting off, Wonder Time! (talk) moved Timing Chain to its correct title of Chain (Super Mario RPG), OmegaRuby (talk) added the fact about the additional instruments, and LinkTheLefty (talk) added the translations. While it's not what I had in mind with its focus, the Mushroom Kingdom article was improved nonetheless by OmegaRuby, LinkTheLefty, Alexo (talk), and Arson Raboot (talk). ThePowerPlayer (talk) added the image of the Spring Flower, KinokoBlast (talk) finished up the List of Wii media article by adding the Wii Channel jingles for Donkey Kong Barrel Blast and Wario Land: Shake It!, and an anonymous user found a source for the recovery block's alternative name.

And now onto this month's focuses:

Article Category Focuses
Yoshi Cart
Wanted article
With the end of the Wii U's and 3DS's online services, I find it appropriate to dedicate one focus to one of their launch titles. Don't forget that Yoshi Carts appear in both Yoshi's Fruit Cart and Mario Chase.
Wario World
Stub article
The gameplay section of the Wario World article is short, lacking a controls section and an explanation of the moment-to-moment gameplay among other things. Rather fittingly, this section contains an image of a a to-do list.
Candy's Headphones
Rewrite and expansion required
While this item type isn't as numerous as some other collectibles in Donkey Kong 64, a list of where exactly they can be found would be helpful.
File:Tulip.png
Image quality requested
The dark background behind the tulip makes it hard to discern its actual shape. A lighter background or even no background would make this image bloom.
Danger
Articles that need more images
This article is dangerously low on images. To help alleviate that, images from the Paper Mario games after The Thousand-Year Door need to be added.
Missable content
Citation needed
Apparently there's a coin pile in Peronza Plaza that disappears after collecting the Luncheon Kingdom's first Multi Moon. A picture of it should suffice if it really does exist.

Now just before I leave you, I'd like to tell you about unimplemented proposals. There are currently thirty-nine that need to be implemented, dating as far back as 2021, so think of this as a continuous Spotlight goal until they're all completed. Additionally, there are many unresolved discussions that we would love to see come to some sort of conclusion. Some might have already concluded and just need the template removed, others have been waiting for a response for years.

Thanks for tuning in to the newest edition of The 'Shroom Spotlight! Be sure to turn up next month, where we'll be reviewing the progress on the above focuses. If you have any questions or suggestions about this month's set of the article focuses, then please get in touch through the dedicated topic if you have a forum account. If not, then please contact me on my talk page, but you are far more likely to get a quick response if you go through the forums. You are also welcome to make suggestions on what you think we could focus on in our next edition! Thank you, and good luck!
