Forest Jump is a single-player minigame found in Mario Party Advance. The name may be a reference to the 1994 film Forrest Gump.

Introduction

The character is standing near one end of the area as the wind pushes them toward the edge and a log rolls toward them; they immediately move in the other direction and jump over the log.

Gameplay

The player, positioned on a cliff, must jump over the rolling logs to earn points, with certain logs bouncing rather than rolling and some being larger than others. The wind also affects the gameplay, so the player has to be careful not to fall from the field. If the player jumps over or ducks under a rolling log while near either of the cliff's edges, some extra points are won. If the player is hit by a log, they are temporarily stunned, while also flattened if they were ducking. If the player falls from the field, the game ends.

In the Shroom City mode, the player must earn at least 300 points in order to win. In Mini-Game Attack, the player must earn at least 1,000 points to clear the minigame.
