Variant of | Puffton |
Tufftons are enemies appearing in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switch port. They are owl-like members of the Snowmads, bearing a belt with their insignia, a mustache, and a helmet.
Tufftons are a stronger variant of Puffton, hence the naming convention. Like Pufftons, they fly around in a set area, and Tufftons can be distinguished from the orange protective helmet covering their head. The Kongs can also walk on them like a platform, which is necessary for crossing wide gaps. Tufftons can be defeated by Cranky Kong using a Cane Bounce or if Donkey Kong throws projectiles at them.
