The Paon DP Corporation, Ltd. is a Japanese video game company founded on January 20, 1999. Following the departure of Rare from Nintendo, Paon received the rights to work and build upon the Donkey Kong franchise, which included DK: King of Swing, DK: Jungle Climber, and Donkey Kong Barrel Blast. Paon also co-developed Mario & Luigi: Dream Team alongside AlphaDream, and assisted in the development of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
