The realm itself is made up of four kingdoms: the oceanic Muda, the Eastern Island based Easton, the ancient Egyptian styled Birabuto, and the ancient China based Chai. This land was once taken over by the purple alien Tatanga, who captured Princess Daisy and brainwashed Sarasaland's inhabitants.
After a very long time of absence, what appears to be Sarasaland appears in Mario Kart Wii, this time with the name Daisy Circuit.
