Floor panels[1] are objects in Mario Pinball Land that appear in the pyramid in the Shifting Sands Stage. With enough speed, the player can hit a floor panel to open a hole or to summon enemies. Floor panels first appear in the first room of the pyramid, where the left and right floor panels open the holes, while the center floor panel summons Snakes. The floor panels that summon enemies disable other floor panels until the enemies are defeated. The floor panel that starts a boss fight with the Egyptian Koopa stays pressed forever after the boss is defeated.
