Mix-a-Mug is one of Yoshi's minigames in Super Mario 64 DS. To unlock it, Yoshi must capture a rabbit in the Mushroom Castle. This minigame is similar to the Spade Panel minigames from Super Mario Bros. 3.
Gameplay
To play, the player has to line up three parts of the character shown in the middle of the top screen (either Mario, Wario, Luigi, Princess Peach, or Yoshi) so as to make a face (similar to slots) and win coins. The player must touch the wheel they want to stop when they want to stop it (either the chin, the facial center, or the hair) with the stylus. The player starts with 12 coins. If the player fails to line up the right character correctly, the player loses three coins. If the player lines up the right character correctly, the player gets a Star. The player earns three coins for lining up the character on the left or right side and six coins for lining up the character in the center. The minigame ends when the player runs out of coins.
In-game instructions
Line up the slots on the Touch Screen to form a face. Win more coins by matching the center face in the slots to the one on the top screen.
