It is a sheet of paper with Isaac Newton's second law of motion written on it. Mario receives F=MA from one of the Royal Society members and gave it to another who was giving a lecture on the three laws of motion and could not remember the second one. In exchange, the lecturer tells Mario more about Newton and his three laws, information Mario eventually used to return Newton's apple to him.
