In the story's prologue, Dribble and Spitz are driving their taxi across space, looking for customers. Suddenly, the Space Gangs fire a laser at the taxi, causing Dribble to worry. Spitz reassures him, saying that they need to stay cool. The UFOs then fire another laser, which damages their taxi.
