Long-Lost Love is a minor character in WarioWare Gold and WarioWare: Move It! who always appears along with her love interest Distant Darling. In Gold, she shows up in five microgames and in Wario Kard, the latter of which establishes her name. She also appears in one microgame in Move It!. She is dressed in either green or pink-red clothes.

The development team of WarioWare Gold aimed to update the microgames with new scenarios and created connections that did not exist in the microgames' earlier appearances, with Goro Abe citing how the remade versions of Hookin' Up, Love Tester, Rocky Reunion, Tearful Reunion, and Long Lost Love depict "a drama between a man and woman that spans several microgames."[1]

Appearances[edit]

Profiles[edit]

  • Hookin' Up: "Could this be the "first sight" type of love, or is it only the red thread of fate that connect these two love birdies?"
  • Love Tester: "Check the couple's compatibility with the Love Tester! All they gotta do is grab the round metal thingy with their left hand! Huh. Love seems super easy."
  • Long Lost Love: "Unite these two lovebirds so they can fly up into space together. You don't want to stand in the way of true love, do ya?"
  • Tearful Reunion: "Reunite these two...lovebirds. Avoid the dangerous eye beams if you really want them to be together."
  • Rocky Reunion: "Well, ain't this tragic? Time and space have kept these two apart. Don't let that rock get in the way just when they're about to reunite!"
  • Wario Kard: Prevents Special Attacks. Always uses scissors on second move.
  • A Swing at Love: "Release the Form Stone to help reunite the couple!"
