Image Category Reminder
Hello, 1UP inc. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]]or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
Your first upload, File:Mario sports superstars character roster.PNG, was missing Category:Mario Sports Superstars Images, along with a license tag ({{game-screenshot}}). The appropriate edits have been made for you so you can see what I did. Be sure to fill out the description appropriately and select the correct license on Special:Upload next time. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 17:10, 26 January 2017 (EST)
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
I warned you once before and ignored that with your two Mario Kart 8 Deluxe uploads. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 22:12, 11 March 2017 (EST)
Aboutfile reminder
Hello, 1UP inc. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly use the {{aboutfile}} template. What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. The pre-loaded syntax is shown below. {{aboutfile |1=Subject of the image |2=Where you found the image |3=Artist |4=Describe edits, if any |5=Other versions (use file link) }} Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line for the parameter(s) you don't use. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue using {{aboutfile}} incorrectly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |

Last warning
Template:Lastwarn You created a sockpuppet account which you used to vandalise the wiki. Do something like this again, and both this account and the sockpuppet will be blocked. Mario JC 21:56, 17 April 2017 (EDT)
Rango
Please don't create an article with one sentence worth of content. Try to have a sufficient amount of information right off the bat the next time you create an article, and it should follow the format as described in the Manual of Style; otherwise it will be marked for deletion. Thanks. Mario JC 20:17, 26 October 2017 (EDT)
Luigi's Mansion Gallery photo upload
Oh hi there, I just wanted to state that it wasn't necessary to upload another picture of the brand new Luigi's Mansion Gallery area if one was already available, you could've simply upload a new version on the file already available, but I don't mind if you'd like your's instead, as it's of a higher quality, so I'm perfectly OK with it.
Judging from your edits and talk page, you seem like a newbie when it comes to uploading photos, since you forgot to fill in the summary of your photo upload regarding its description, source, and categorization. If the said criteria isn't on there, then your photo upload will likely get taken down and reverted back to my photo upload, which already has the proper criteria, so just put a description, its source URL, and its necessary categorization at the very least rather soon and you'll be good to go. --Jjrapper100 (talk) 19:32, 11 March 2018 (EDT)
