In  a piece of [[List of Luigi's Mansion pre-release and unused content|pre-release]] footage, there are three Blue Twirler-like ghosts playing poker; though the cutscene itself isn't in the final game, they make a short cameo in the form of a sepia-toned screenshot in a frame laying against the [[Ghost Portrificationizer]].

A Blue Twirler in Luigi's Mansion

A Blue Twirler occasionally appears in the Luigi's Mansion Court in the game Mario Power Tennis. They are also found in the Luigi's Mansion stadium in Mario Super Sluggers, where they stun fielders that run into the graves that the Blue Twirlers reside within.

Additionally, a Blue Twirler is depicted alongside a Gold Ghost and a Purple Puncher in a trophy that appears in both Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. In each one of them, the trophy can be unlocked at random.

Slammers from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon behave similarly.
