The title of this article is official, but it comes from a non-English source. If an acceptable English source is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.
- This article is about the enemies from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. For the enemies from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, see Stinger.
Template:Species-infobox Stingers (スティンガ[1]) are flying insect enemies from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They attack Donkey Kong by flying towards him if he gets too close; contact with them causes him to lose beats. However, if Donkey Kong uses the Sound Wave Attack, they are defeated. Donkey Kong will get one beat for every Stinger he defeats that gets close enough. In some levels, there are nests that, upon clapping at them, reveal several Stingers.
Stingers appear in several kingdoms throughout the game. An alternative kind of Stingers called Armored Stingers also appear in the Durian Kingdom; using the sound wave attack causes them to turn into normal stingers, which can then be defeated.
