The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.

Tiny Kong being chased by two Mecha-Kritters.

Mecha-Kritters are robotic versions of Kritters encountered in Donkey Kong 64.

Mecha-Kritters appear as semi-common enemies in the area Frantic Factory, which is the only level that features them. Mecha-Kritters attack in a similar manner to normal Kritters, by punching and biting. They can only take out one melon slice at a time, but the reward for defeating a Mecha-Kritter is two melon slices.

Mecha-Kritters are gray in color and have glowing red eyes, they also have yellow wind-up keys in their backs. Mecha-Kritters are extremely durable as most attacks have almost no effect on them, the only way to defeat them is with an Orange Grenade, shockwaves or Chunky Kong's Primate Punch.

Robotic Kritters similar to Mecha-Kritters, called Robo-Kritters also appear in Super Mario Strikers as the Super Team's goalies.
