Tsuriuo[1] are creatures that oppose Wario in Wario Land II. They appear as land-lurking, humanoid fish that carry fishing rods. Since they lack the ability to actually hurt Wario, they can be considered as obstacles, rather than enemies. Their occupation during the game is to catch Wario with their fishing rods and pull him up to an upper level. To do this, they use a fake Coin as a decoy that can easily be confused with a regular coin. However, the fake coin is of a different colour. Since they lack any form of attack, Tsuriuo can safely be defeated by simply attacking them.
Tsuriuo are rare enemies and only appear in two levels of the game, namely in stage 3-1 and in an alternate version of stage 5-1.
