Status: Playing Mario & Luigi Bowser Inside Story. (Great fun!)

I am a Mario fan. My favorite series is Paper Mario, although I like the first and the third installments of Mario & Luigi too. I like tool-assisted speedruns too.

Personal info

  • My email is 250x0418497@qq.com minus the "x". My Baidu account is dine2013 or dine2015. However, I don't have much time to spend on the Internet.
  • Due to the strange behavior of Сhina's Internet сensοrship, this site is sometimes accessible in China and sometimes not. When it isn't, I'll use some GFW-bypassing software to access this site.
  • I'm a Linux user. My favorite distribution is Ubuntu plus its derivatives (Kubuntu, Lubuntu, etc).

* These are the pages I'm most proud of, because I took most of the screenshots myself, and they are high-quality ones taken with the Dolphin emulator.

Currently ongoing

For Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, I have a plan to provide the location of every item in the game. The info is to appear in the "item list" for every big area. Most of the work is finished as of 2016/1/9.

Location Progress
Peach's Castle finished
Hollijolli Village finished
Koopa Cruiser finished
Bowser's Castle finished
Toadwood Forest finished
Vim Factory finished
Yoshi's Island finished
Yoob's Belly finished
Gritzy Desert finished
Koopaseum finished
Gritzy Caves finished
Thwomp Volcano finished
Thwomp Caverns finished
Shroob Mother Ship finished
Toad Town finished
Star Hill finished
Star Shrine finished
Shroob Castle finished

The next step will be to check for completeness with regard to the badges/trousers. I haven't done this yet. (2016/1/23)

Again, I developed these item lists by manual searching into the game, instead of relying on a hacking tool. Therefore some ordinary items must have slipped my eye.

Future plan

  • The first revision of the article "List of Star Pieces in Paper Mario" use poor-quality screenshots taken from a Japanese 100% run of Paper Mario found on the Internet. The second one (current) uses screenshots imported from RPGShrine, which are slightly better. In the future third revision I plan to take higher-quality ones myself, now that I have the US version of Paper Mario.
  • Wait for someone to hack into Paper Mario and come up with the item drop probability for each enemy. (Some guy hacked into the game and found that Up & Away has a 0.016% chance to succeed in the final two Bowser battles. But this value later turned out to be wrong.)
