The Hall of Hieroglyphs is the first level of the Game Boy Advance game Wario Land 4. It is also the first level of the Entry Passage. It doesn't have any difficult challenges since it's the first level of the game. The whole level is basically a tutorial, teaching the player how to properly control Wario and master his moves. The level has various pictures (or "hieroglyphs") of the Item Shopkeeper on the walls teaching Wario what he needs to do across the level, for example, there are some parts that he will have to perform his ram attack, other parts he needs to throw a rock to break some bricks, etc. At the end of the level, Wario must hit the Frog Switch to open up the Vortex which brings Wario back to the Pyramid. This stage, along with the Golden Passage, does not have a CD to collect. In S-Hard Mode, the Frog Switch is near the beginning of the level.
