Template:Levelbox Dry Desert Mushrooms, or Layer-Cake Desert-5, is the fifth course of Layer-Cake Desert in New Super Mario Bros. U. It is an athletic mushroom course with Stone Spikes and moving platforms.
Layout
The course contains mushrooms of the normal and expanding/shrinking varieties. Stone Spikes appear in normally difficult-to-reach places to toss sandy-colored stones at the player. The course also contains platforms that move when stepped on.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: Between two stationary platforms.
- Star Coin 2: Between two Stone Spikes on an expanding/shrinking mushroom.
- Star Coin 3: In a Warp Pipe below two Stone Spikes, use the POW Block to make it drop when the two mushrooms below are expanded.
