In this minigame, the player has to find a certain character ([[Mario]], [[Luigi]], Yoshi, or [[Wario]]) in a large crowd by tapping an aforementioned character with the Stylus that is shown on the Wanted poster on the Top Screen. The farther the player gets, the harder the stage becomes. There will also be more icons, and even moving icons. The player gains five seconds by tapping the right character, but also can lose ten seconds when tapping on the wrong character. The most time the player can get is fifty seconds. In addition, the highest level the player can be on is 9999. Once the time runs out, the game ends and it becomes [[Game Over]].

Wanted! is a Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros. minigame. In the former, it is classified as one of Yoshi's minigames, and in the latter, it is considered a Puzzle minigame.

Gameplay

In this minigame, the player has to find one of the four characters (Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, or Wario) amongst a large crowd of the others by tapping whichever of their icons is shown on the wanted poster on the top screen with the stylus.
