Fire Power is Yoshi's Power Flower power-up in Super Mario 64 DS. Getting a Power Flower or eating fire will allow Yoshi to breathe fire.

The power-up itself is most useful in winter-themed levels, such as Cool, Cool Mountain and Snowman's Land. It can also kill any enemy on contact, making it very useful when there is enemies in the dinosaur's way.

There are two levels where Yoshi's fire breath is required to complete,

Having Yoshi eat a Red Shell or a fireball in 2-D Mario games has a similar effect, as well as the Super Red Watermelon from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Also, in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Yoshi can breathe fire only when he is Super Dragon Yoshi.
