Trivia
- This is Daisy's only appearance in a NES game.
- This is the only NES game where Peach is depicted with blonde hair, yet her outfit was green due to the 8-bit color restrictions, yet wearing the color pink in the Western Super Mario Bros. 2 and in Super Mario Bros. 3 restricted her hair color to brown.
- This is also the only game that depicted Daisy with blonde hair in the game as opposed to auburn and wearing blue instead of yellow and white, also due to the 8-bit color restrictions.
- In the Japanese version of the game, features different playable courses and characters.
- Although the Japan Course and UK Course are also playable courses in North America version they do not contain the same holes. For example, hole 1 in the Australia Course is hole 9 in the US Course.
