It is the only GBA Bowser Castle course that has yet to become a retro course in a later Mario Kart games. This course features many dangerous jumps over lava pits, several Thwomps blocking the way, along with Mechakoopas at the end of the race. This course is a definite candidate from Mario Kart: Super Circuit to be put in the 8th Mario Kart game as a retro course.
