Donkey Kong Classics is a video game collection of the games Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr.. This compilation is for the Nintendo Entertainment System, which was developed by Nintendo R&D1.

It was released on October 1988 in the US, three years after the original release of the NES, and August 10, 1989 in Europe.

At the title screen, the player can between the two games. They are exactly the same as the NES versions. The gameplay is also the same as the NES versions. Nothing has changed other than the title screen.

The game was never released in Japan.
