"Hamma, Bamma, & Flare", a.k.a the Big Bad Brute Bros. (Japanese: 「トリプルブロス」チーム), is a team fought by Mario in the Glitz Pit in the game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They are made up of three fighters: Hamma Jamma, Bamma, and Flare, and before Mario enters the Pit they rank third overall. It is likely that the three are brothers.

History

Mario, fighting as the "The Great Gonzales", faces the Big Bad Brute Bros. when he moves into the fourth ranking of the Glitz Pit.

The Big Bad Brute Bros.

Hamma Jamma

Hamma Jamma, also known simply as Hamma, is a Hammer Bro. that fights in the Glitz Pit alongside Bamma and Flare.

Hamma Jamma often talks about his grandfather, whom it is implied Mario may have actually met. This highly talked-of grandfather, is said by Hamma Jamma to have occupied "World 7-1" as his turf. Hamma Jamma also constantly tells Mario about other family members (whom he apparently left), such as his father, the only known Business Bro. His most prized possession seems to be his hammer, which he obtained from his grandfather. As Mario rises through the ranks of the the major league, Hamma Jamma becomes more friendly towards him, telling him about various personal business. In battle, he fights using his hammer.
