A Spiny Fish.
A Spiny Fish is a small fish enemy found in the game Yoshi's Story.
They bear a small resemblance to Cheep-Cheep, although they lack bird-like feature and have a purple coloration and huge, green eyes. They are armoured with spikes, so, if a Yoshi eats them, he will lose some petals. They are exclusively found in underwater levels. They behave much like Cheep-Cheep, although they are quicker and will try to follow Yoshi.
Spiny Fish live in the Yoshi Sea and only appear in Level 5-1: Lots'O'Jellyfish! and Level 5-2: Lots'O'Fish!.
