Cloud N. Candy only appears in the N64 game Yoshi's Story. This boss is a massive, buoyant, smiling cloud comprised of fluffy yellow candy. To defeat this foe, Yoshi simply has to lick up his candy body. However, Yoshi does have to watch out for Cloud N. Candy's Jump attack. As Yoshi licks him, he shrinks to a smaller and smaller size, making him quicker and more agile. Each lick of his cloud candy body will restore some of Yoshi's health. After repeated licks, Cloud N. Candy will disappear into Yoshi's belly, never to be heard from again.
Trivia
- The name, as well as the character himself, is likely a pun on Cotton Candy.
- In the French language version of the game, Cloud N. Candy says: "Mmm! Miam miam! Je suis sucré... Tu veux goûter? Burp." Which translates to: "Mmm! Yum yum! I am sweet… You want to taste? Burp."
