The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.
Pushy Walls are pushing, protruding stones in Super Mario 64. At the beginning of Whomp's Fortress, they go through a pattern of pushing, trying to shove Mario off of the cliff, and to his death. They also appear in many levels including Lethal Lava Land. The beginning and end Pushy Wall in Whomp's Fortress are thinner than the center Pushy Wall.
Their eyes have a blue outline with blue pupils. The eyes are also looking like peeling out, thanks to the thick outline on the eyes. In Super Mario 64 DS, no detail is on any Pushy Wall, to surprise new players. To avoid a Pushy Wall, Mario can jump on them, or wait until he can pass.
Pushy Walls also appear in Super Mario Galaxy, but with a different, more Thwomp-like look and face. Those appear in, for example, Freezeflame Galaxy. They close their eyes when they pull back, and they fill their cheeks when they push forth. Some Pushy Walls have another face on their back, so it looks like it's actually moving! Those can better be used as platforms. Because there is a normal wall, Mario can still be shoven away.
