Flingshot is a single-player minigame in Mario Party Advance. The title is a portmanteau of "fling" and "slingshot."
Overview
In the first part, the player is against a giant slingshot. They must press the and
buttons repeatedly for five seconds as they build up power. The more the buttons are pressed, the farther the player will be launched.
The second part involves the player launching through the air. During this, they can press Up or Down on the Control Pad to either go higher or descend. The player receives more points as they continue to soar. As the player goes along, they can be assisted by updrafts. The vertically faced updrafts send the player higher, whereas the horizontal ones send them farther.
In the Shroom City mode, the player can win with a score of at least 5,000, while in Mini-Game Attack, the minimum requirement is 9,000 points.
