Trompettes[1][2] are king trumpet mushroom-like enemies that appear in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, introduced in the level Bulrush Coming Through! They vary in height according to their age;[2] the longer the top is the older they are. When stomped on, they take out any other enemies behind them as they fall off the screen, as well as being able to collect any collectibles in its path.

Purple variants also appear that turn around when facing a ledge.
