Rappers Soulja Boy and Young L (of the hip hop group The Pack) collaborated on a mixtape titled Mario & Domo vs. the World, released in 2012. The album cover features Mario in the Paper Mario style, with differently colored clothing, and NHK Japanese broadcast mascot, Domo facing each other.
