Description(s)
Makes Mario look shiny and golden. (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Nintendo Switch)
“Head on over to Rogueport's main square. A shiny reward is waiting for you!”
"Congrats, you comprehensive collector!" email, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)

The Gold Medal is a badge in the Nintendo Switch remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It appears in the center of Rogueport Plaza after the Cooking Trophy, Badge Trophy, and Tattle Trophy have been received, signifying 100% completion of the game. If Mario equips the badge, it changes the color scheme of his full appearance to Gold Mario. It can be combined with the L Emblem and W Emblem, though the visual effect of those badges is very subtle when stacked with the Gold Emblem. It has no mechanical effect in battle and uses zero BP.
