The Thousand-Year Door description | Makes Mario look shiny and golden. |
The Gold Medal is a badge in the Nintendo Switch remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It appears in the center of Rogueport Plaza after the Cooking Trophy, Badge Trophy, and Tattle Trophy have been received, signifying 100% completion of the game. If Mario equips the badge, it changes the color scheme of his full appearance to Gold Mario. It can be combined with the L Emblem and W Emblem, though the visual effect of those badges is very subtle when stacked with the Gold Emblem. It has no mechanical effect in battle and therefore uses zero BP.
